Contrast the views of the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists on the following topic: The executive power would be vested in one president of the United States under the Constitution.

Respuesta :

The Federalist view of government was vested in a strong central government, figures which you can research for more background who were strong Federalists were John Adams and Alexander Hamilton. In contrast, the Anti-Federalists were those who opposed a strong central government. They wished for the power to be spread amongst the states to prevent overreaching in the federal government. Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams were notable Anti-Federalist figures. To summarize, the Federalists wanted the President to have more power while the Anti-Federalists didn't.
