Organisms—Plants root, animals burrow, and bacteria eat – these and other organisms speed up the breakdown of large soil particles into smaller ones.
The main type of soil in the polar regions is ahumic soil. This includes the cold desert soil. This soil consists of sand that is frozen. These soils tend to not have a lot of vegetation but bacteria can be found(which is good) sooo.. it’s B
