When you go to the dentist, you always see them putting their instruments on the tray, making it more convenient during procedure. Also, when their is an emergency, dentists can use things that are on the tray instead of spending time to look for them when their an emergency...because you know how even one second is important during medical emergencies.....sorry if I am wrong!
