During the 1750s, before the Industrial Revolution, why did most people see little of the world?

Respuesta :

Before the Industrial Revolution, most of the people saw very little of the world, in fact, they were only able to see parts of their own countries, very often only small areas of it.

The reason for that was that there were not suitable, quick, and cheap traveling methods.

When the Industrial Revolution started though, it started creating multiple different machines, some of which were for travel and transportation. One of the biggest inventions was the train. The train was relatively cheap and affordable. It also was able in relatively short time to travel over long distances, so the people started using it and started to see much more of the world.
