True OR False

Respuesta :

It is true. The loyalty motif helps develop the character of Kent, who serves King Lear in disguise in Shakespeare's tragedy King Lear.

In the play, Kent is a nobleman but his rank is below that the one of duke. Moreover, he knows the royal family and he is very loyal to King Lear, the aging king of Britain that wants to enjoy power but free from responsabilities. Kent spends most of the play disguised as a peasant and, although Lear banishes him after Kent advises him to treat Cordelia better, he even risks his life for the king.
