If you are using the paintbrush tool and want to change the color of the paint being used you should select the new color of paint from the colors palet at the top of your screen.
When you are choosing colors the most frequently used one are shown at the top of the screen. If you are looking for a different color you need to click on “Edit Colors.” This will allow you to choose any color.
