Try something like:
-your character witnessing a murder and now fears that the killer will try to find him and kill him for witnessing.
-your character has just been dumped and now tries to get over their ex by experiencing things they've never done before and also meeting someone new on that experience-break and falls in love unexpectedly.
-your character is an on the rise journalist, but when their famous best friend has been caught up in a major cheating scandal that can possibly change his career drastically, your the one who has to spill the tea. Will your character's story finally make front page headlines or will your character stay loyal to their best friend and lose everything they've worked for.
