Which aspect of this excerpt from Christina Rossetti's poem "Remember" would the imagists have disliked?
Remember me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land
A the ordinary language as in remember and gone
B the abstract idea of "the silent land"
C the first-person singular perspective
D the sentiment of remembering someone who has left

Respuesta :

i am not sure, because i am not super familiar with imagists, but i think i could be A. From what I gathered, imagists were a group of people who liked clear, sharp language that created a pristine image, so ordinary language seems like it would not appeal to them that much.

its not a, go with b. the abstract idea of "the silent land"

i just passed it .
