First you have the mRNA or the messenger RNA. They are responsible for delivering the code from the DNA in the nucleus, to the ribosomes, where proteins are synthesized. The next would be the rRNA or the ribosomal RNA which are found in the ribosomes. They help with translation, or amino acid assembly. They bind with the next type of RNA, which is the tRNA. The transfer RNA or the tRNA carry the amino acids to the template from the mRNA. Each tRNA have a specific amino acid on them and they act as an adapter, between the mRNA code and the amino acid it carries. It translates the mRNA code to amino acid, to form the protein specific to the instructions of the DNA.
