Find the common ratio, by adding the adults and babies together: 6+5 = 11

Divide the total by that:

44/11 = 4

the common ratio is 4.

Now multiply the given ratios by the common ratio:

Adults = 6 x 4 = 24

Babies = 5 x 4 = 20

There are 20 babies.
