A. thorns growing on rose stems
B. tree roots growing downward because of gravity
C. sunflowers turning toward light
D. vines curling around a fence

Respuesta :

B. Not A, because roses have adapted them for not being picked, not c, because they turn to absorb the sunlight, and not D, because the vines are growing towards a light source.
Hmmmm.....tree roots grow downwards in response to gravity in a response known as geotropism. Turning towards light is a response called phototropism. Vines curling around a fence is called thigmotropism. I say answer A is not a behavioral adaptation. Sorry the answer is so long.
