- HTML is supposed to have less expressive feature as compared with XHTML which is more expressive.
- HTML persist of not being case sensitive in nature whereas the XHTML has the case sensitivity in nature.
- HTML got extended from the SGML whereas XHTML is the combination of the HTML and XML.
