Please help!!! A foreign exchange student has noticed citizens who are very wealthy and others who are very poor. Because of this, she tells you she does not believe Americans truly value equality. How would you respond?

Respuesta :

Answer:

I would agree.

Explanation:

Because all the wealthy american have the choice to help the poor but they choose not to because they feel that they are of a higher standard than them. This shows that they do not value equality, they do not give to those in need.

My opinion tho!

Answer:

"Equality and opportunities are for everyone."

Explanation:

It is very important to mention that American society is open to provide and nurture opportunities to everyone. For example public education (K-12) is affordable for every American. It is the responsibility for each family to instill in their kids love for learning and values to achieve goals in life. On the other hand, it is true that tuition fees are high regarding college education in the USA; however, there are important Foundations in the USA willing to give education grants; such is the case of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The NEA Foundation, Annenberg Foundation, just to mention a few of them. Such foundations focus on those students who really want to make the difference for their families, their community and their country. Imbalance is a reality, but it is not the inescapable fate for citizens this foreign student has noticed. She needs to know a bit more about the American culture regarding all the opportunities, and helping hands, public and private who are always eager to help.
