7.   The actions Lincoln's taken were necessary knowing that the south wanted to have slaves because of the usefulness of working they were forced to do. Some choices aren't usually right to make when it comes to some complicated situations. So, if Lincoln thought what was necessary to have the civil war be done with on his end it also meant that he was faced with such hard decisions in order to end the war. Sure he could've done it differently, but in that time I believe some choices have limited time to make.

8.  The obstacles they were faced with must've been the most major and dire situations or decisions they had to deal with. They've dealt with a lot of men running from the war wanting nothing to do with it for their own reasons. Other cases are during the war all the men were ambushed, captured, and even the hardest decisions.

9.   In the beginning of his speech with the famous phrase, "Four score and seven years ago," Lincoln honored the Union dead and reminded the listeners of the purpose of the soldier's sacrifice: equality, freedom, and national unity.

10. The Civil War had a greater impact on American society and the polity than any other matter in the country's history. It was also the most awful experience sufferable by any generation of Americans.
