Desire for Power for Haitian Revolution:

The revolution by the Haitians took place in Saint Dominguez which was a colony of French people. The basic aim of the Haitians to go for this revolution was to end the slavery that they had to go through since many years by the colonists.

After this revolution, the Haitians declared themselves free by them own and found a city named by the name of their own community, Haiti. They desired to preserve and secure the freedom and that they did not want to go again under the rule of the french colony.
