This will sound cliché, but the skill I need to improve to become a negotiating nom is communication. I can't communicate easily with people I'm not familiar with, and good negotiators know that clear communication is critical to good business. However, it does not always occur as expected. Often information is transmitted in a confusing manner, with omissions or misrepresentations of language, which ultimately makes trading inefficient.

Communication skills are strategies that allow information to be passed between two or more people clearly and objectively, allowing all individuals involved in communication to understand what is being said and to be able to respond coherently and cohesively. Communication skills are essential factors for success in one negotiation process, especially the ability to listen and understand the needs of others.
