Lewis has a copper pipe worth a length of 150 fm and a mass of 800 grams. he cuts a piece of the copper pipe with a length of 70cm.

work out the mass of this piece of copper pipe.

........grams

Respuesta :

Divide the mass of the full pipe by the length of the full pipe:

800 grams / 150 cm = 5.33 grams per cm.

Multiply grams per cm by the new length:

5.33 x 70 = 373.33 grams ( Round the answer as needed),
