Answer:

Photosynthesis is how plants combine light water and carbon dioxide to produce energy (glucose) and oxygen. The glucose powers the plants functions and the oxygen is releasesd back into the atmosphere. Cellular Respiration is how animals combine glucose and oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water

  • Photosynthesis is the process whereby green plants, make use of Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to synthesize and produce oxygen.

  • Green plants possess an organelle called Chloroplasts. This Chloroplast produces chlorophyll which reacts to produces glucose and oxygen.

  • Cellular respiration occurs in animals. Cellular respiration is a process whereby animals breathe in oxygen and oxygen reacts with the glucose in the body and in turn produces carbon dioxide and water.

  • Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration are interrelated because plants produce the oxygen which animals require to carry out cellular respiration while animals, in turn, breathe out (produce) the carbon dioxide needed by plants for photosynthesis.
