If you were put in charge of a movie production about a person who is blind, what type of perceptions would you want to make sure are portrayed in your movie? What myths could you debunk? What stereotypes would you want to make sure to avoid?

Respuesta :

Answer:

The first perception is to show that blind people are also important and not weak and lack of physical sight is not lack of insight.

I will like to debunk the myth that blind individual cannot archive much as compared humans with sight. We have seen fantastic blind singers, actors and speakers.

I will ensure I avoid the stereotype that blind eye is blind sight, blindness is genetic, and blindness brings backwardness or leads to low self-esteem.

Explanation:

Blindness is when an individual cannot see with any of his or her two eyes.

As a movie producer producing a movie about the blind I will ensure I portray the blind in positive light and encourage others to see their strength. I will ensure as a producer that the script is written on Braille also for the blinds to read.

The blind can feel, can hear clearly because they are focused, the blind can imagine and can be in love.

I will also portray a picture that the blind need the support of those that have eyes.
