The technique of using words with the same vowel sound is assonance.
Assonance is the resemblance of the same vowel sound in two or more words but starts with a consonant sound. It is mostly used in poetry to add rhythm, tone, and music to it.
On the other hand, Alliteration is the repetition of the consonant sounds at the beginning of the words. Rhyme is the repetition of similar sounds in two or more words. It can be either the vowel sound or the consonant. And Simile is the figure of speech used directly compares two things which have some features common in them.
