the ocean currents resemble conveyer belts and move constantly but recently the ice caps have melted more and more leaving nothing but warm water to be distributed to the oceans because man is polluting the air and creating toxins and such leading to the changes in the ocean, also the amount of trash we dispose of in the ocean is causing the water to be untreatable because loads of chemicals are being released and filters cant filter them out
