C.Create energy
D.Build proteins

Respuesta :

Answer:

C. Make energy

What proteins do with the nitrogen they absorb is make energy.

Hope this helps ;)

I’m guessing create energy. From what I looked online “animals consume plant protein, digest it using specific enzymes and aborb the free amino acids. Animals cannot store excess protein in their bodies. (Do it’s not D) They break it down and turn it into waste products and excrete them from their bodies.” Then it’s released into the soil in the form of ammonium. A group of free-living soil bacteria called nitrifying backer converts ammonium into nitrates in order to obtain energy.. therefore they create energy?
