Depending on the housing type the community varies greatly. If it was town houses people are forced to be closer due to the closeness of their homes. They have to make compromises and so on. If they were separate houses people can be more alone and separated
Almost all communities have neighborhoods and all neighborhoods usually contain something distinct about them in which that community can be represented by. Some are defined by space in terms of how secluded one home may be from the other. Some are defined by the togetherness of the homes and how compacted the neighborhood is. Bottom line is communities are usually a spitting image of how housing is in the community.
