Hello friends, I am Vanessa and I am in Guayaquil, to start my trip with my host family, the Quiroga family, and
my pen pal, Miriam. I am happy and anxious for this new experience. I am also concerned because I do not
know what I am going to see in these countries.
Today is a good time here and there is much I want to see! I want to visit the town center and the Museum of
Anthropology.
Also, today we are going to visit the city of Salinas. Salinas is west of Guayaquil and is a city on the coast. I
love the coast and I always feel surprised when I see the sea and the sand; nature is very beautiful.
I feel a little nervous because Miriam's father is going to drive the car to Salinas. I always feel sick when I
travel by car.
