how did the effects of world war 2 help shape different goals in the soviet union and the untied states?

Respuesta :

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The effects of World War II helped shape different goals in the Soviet Union and the United States in that both countries had two totally different political and economic agendas.

The Soviet Union started to spread Communism and controlled Eastern European countries as was the case of Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Albany, Bulgaria, and Romania. The United States -a Capitalist country- tried to stop the spread of Communism using the policy of containment. These two different approaches in foreign policy forced these two superpowers to confront each other in what was known as the Cold War years, where both countries tried to be ahead of each other in the arms race and the space race.
