I write to you, honorable [Name], in hopes to gain continued support in containing the people of Japanese ancestry within their confinement for the time being. The nation is in a critical state, and the previous events imposed by the Japanese government strictly allows us only to keep a tight security of our native Japanese populations. In supporting the internment of the Japanese Americans, it benefits the US war effort as a whole.
1) Spies: As of their natural identity and nationality, the Japanese people may see to aid their homeland, and throw off the security of the land. Any military information must be kept strictly away from those whose ancestry comes from Japan.
An example can be found in which not even the Japanese themselves are actively spying, but are actively building networks in spying. Mr.Miyazaki is such an example, in which he bribed Mr.Thompson to spy in San Diego for the Japanese Impreial Government.
2) Support: While they may not spy, they may have trouble finding complete support for their new homeland, and failure to be 100% for the United States may lead to instability within the country.
Examples can be found all over the country, in which Japenese struggle to support either their homelands, or their new homeland, particularly with the Issei's. An example can be found in numerous books (I read a book, but the title slipped my mind, in which it was about a Japanese boy who's family was interned, and it was a cut off but day-by-day to individual logs of what the son felt like throughout the war within the camp.
3) Security: Stepping away from the Japanese ancestry, the people around them may feel less secure and afraid of their surroundings. Taking away any such reminders of Pearl Harbor or Japanese cultures may help ease people away from the tensions prescribed by the current events.
*There has been internment of Japanese spies and supporters within the United States. However, it was not as wide-spread as believed, and many Japanese immigrants and Japanese-Americans were extremely pro-America, and showed their loyalty when they were allowed to fight on the European sector.
Through these main points (and there can be more), we must seek for the internment of people with Japense ancestry for the security of the nation and the protection of the people.
