A fact is something that is true as existing knowledge and verifiable evidences. It will not be a fact if it is disapproved by other knowledge or evidence. A fact is something which is falsifiable but can't be falsified at that specific point of time. A theory is a scientific explanation of a fact. A theory explains possible relationship between or among facts. A theory is a proposed relationship and supposed to give the best possible explation about the relationship at that point of time.
A fact and a theory are different because fact has been proven true through multiple tests. A theory is a statement that is considered true until it is proven false.
