15 POINTS- What is the x and y intercept of:
3x-2y+18,
x-3y=0
2x+5y=15
3x-2y=7

Please show how you found it

Respuesta :

To find the x intercept, sub in 0 for y and solve for x
3x - 2y= 18
3x- 2(0) = 18
3x = 18
x = 18/3
x= 6.....so the x int is (6,0)

To find the y int, sub in 0 for x and solve for y
3x - 2y = 18
3(0) - 2y= 18
-2y = 18
y = 18/-2
y = -9...so the y int is (0,-9)

and its as easy as that....

x - 3y = 0
x int = (0,0)
y int = (0,0)

2x + 5y = 15
x int = (7.5,0)
y int = (0,3)

3x - 2y = 7
x int = (7/3,0)
y int = (0,-7/2)
