Fighting against Fascist countries, the US made some efforts to become less Facist. For instance, they let African Americans join the military. However, Japanese were put into prison camps b/c the government thought they could be spies; while this is understandable (but not really) if all of immigrants from enemy countries were put in these camps, white people (Germans, Italians, etc.) weren't given the same treatment, pointing to racism/facism.
