Amplitude is 3 and period is pi

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

in the formula given.  Asin(Bx)    the A does mean Amplitude and the Bx is how fast the function repeats... and b/c sin is a function of pi  (π)  then if we want it to repeat every 2 of x  then.. we do need to know the units of X .... but.. here it's just a number.. so we have to add the pi part.. b/c sin repeats every 2pi.... sooo....we are told that it's supposed to have an Amplitude of 3.... just how tall is the highest peak of the sin wave... so that's A = 3 .. and to repeat each time x gets to a multiple of 2.. like 2,4,6, ... ect.

so we have to add the pi part...  so that each time x gets to 2 .. the function starts over.  :/  this sounds confusing to me.. even as I explain it.. :/

A=3 B=π     I'm sure that didn't help much :D   ask a question i'll check back
