The Chairman,

Osisioma Ngwa Local Council Area,

Aba.

          Sir,

                       URGENT REQUEST FOR INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES

It is with a great sense of urgency that I write this letter to you sir. The state of Abia has been faced with an alarmingly increasing challenge of infrastructural decay over the past twenty years. The responsibility of infrastructural development now mostly lies with the administration of local council areas in recent time.

Sir, The Umungasi district in Osisioma Ngwa Local council area is a hub for major economic activities around the council area. Unfortunately, this district is facing terrible infrastructural decay such as lack of access roads and poor drainage systems. This has threatened to cut off some parts of the district from the rest of the Council area.

Secondly, the Umungasi district is the location where the state civil servants' low cost housing project is to be executed. This means that, in the near future, most of the civil servants in Abia State will move into Umungasi district. This implies more robust economic activities and more development to this district and the Local Council in general.  This may not be achieved in the midst of the infrastructural decay currently faced by the district,

It is my sincere plea that you treat this matter as urgent.

                                                                                             Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                              Jude Njoku
