When you want to locate coordinates on the graph, you need to trace left and right and up and down depending on what coordinates you are looking for.
For example: You want 7, 0
The first digit on the left (7) indicates the x-coordinate and to locate the x-coordinate, you move horizontally.
7 is a positive number so we move right starting from the origin (0, 0.)
Place your finger on the bottom left corner of your graph, (0, 0) and move to the right 7 times.
You will land on the coordinate (7, 0) because you move to the right 7 times and since the y-coordinate is 0, you do not move up or down. You stay where you are. (to find the y-coordinate, you have to move up or down but in this case, you don't move at all seeing as it is 0.)
