The best way to learn new things is any way. We can learn on our own, but we also sometimes need help. To do that, we need to learn from others. However, we can become dependent on having people explain to us. If we become to dependent on people, we won't be able to solve our problems and independence is necessary in society.
Learning for ourselves is great but learning new things from others can help us expand our knowledge. If we always rely on ourselves, we might not have a chance to learn new things and see others' perspective. Opening ourselves to new things is best. The best way to learn new things has no "right" answer since both learning from others and ourselves has pros and cons.
In my opinion, however, I believe learning for ourselves is best. We challenge ourselves to think and learn. But, if we can't handle a certain problem, we need to ask another person for help. Getting the answer easily is wrong because we can't see new possibilities. Learning can come from any form, any way, such as being taught or searching us something. It doesn't matter how we do it. What matters is we do. So both answers are wrong and right. Just like life. In life, it doesn't matter how we do something. What matters is that we actually do.
