militarism - believing that a nation should have a strong military and that it should expect to use it
alliances - agreement between two nations or more, mainly in regards to things like money, politics
imperialism - a nation extending power, often by taking land or by gaining rule or economic control of another area
nationalism - strong belief that the nation one lives in is superior, and that other nations are inferior, or below ones nation.
