x2 + 16 = 10x

We now have;

x2 - 10x + 16  = 0

x(x - 8) -2(x - 8) = 0

(x-2) (x-8) = 0

(x-2) = 0

Then x = 2

Or

(x-8) = 0

x = 8

Hence;

x = 2 or x= 8
