To be able to help Mackenzie to better understand and analyze the plot we must first show her how to use background information in order to understand the story we must read around the text and find key details that describe what the story is about. The author would most likely put what the story is about in the Title for Mackenzie to understand in an organized way she must also identify story elements the conflict, climax , and action etc!
