When I leave home I fear for my life.

What if I'm next to lose my life?

Mom always said not to live in fear.

But that's hard when cops always reach for their gear.

I trust God but when will it stop?

White men commit a crime and they're just fine

But when a black man commit a crime, they do the time.

Cops always claim they're putting their life on the line

but live with the menaltiy "Your life is mine."
