Conflict resolution is defined as measures taken in order to resolve an issue or problem between two or more people.There are steps to take for proper conflict resolution and they are;

1.)Let the source of the conflict be well defined; When there are suitable information about the cause of the conflict then then it would be easier to get it resolved. In order to get the information series of questions need to be asked depending on the problem. Both parties should be given chance to give their side of stories, this will give a better understanding of the situation.

2)Take a look beyond the conflict; at times the cause of the conflict could be just minor case that have taken place long ago but due to stress, it could have resulted to situation whereby the parties involved have begun attacking each other personally without addressing the issue.So when everything is calm calm it is easier to can get both parties to look beyond the triggering incident to see the real cause.

3.)Get the solutions; having trying to get the reason behind the incident and each party’s viewpoint, the next thing to do is to get them to visualize how the situation could be changed.

4.)Identification of the solutions that can be supported by both disputants; this to Point out the advantages of various ideas given.

5 )Agreement; this the last step, both parties need to agree and shake hand
