DNA is double stranded and RNA is single stranded (this is just the really common diff.... there are lots more) they both consist of a sugar, nucleotide and a phosphate, but RNA has ribose whereas DNA has deoxy ribose... DNA is ONLY found in the nuclues whereas RNA can be found both within and outside the nucleus....
