White blood cells:
- resist germs from multiplying in the blood
The defense of
our organism is largely ensured by the white blood cells, also called
leucocytes, real agents of security of the organism.
There are three classes of white blood cells:
- Granulocytes or polynuclear cells,
- Monocytes or macrophages;
- Lymphocytes.
