Since you're most likely not going to answer back, I can tell you the equation. Let's say Mr. Galvez's class is G and Ms. Lee's class is L. Whoever has the larger number goes first in the equation. Let's say G is the larger number. So:

G - L = X

X is the unknown number. Fill in the L and G to figure out how many more cans Mr. Galvez's class has than Ms. Lee's class! I hope this helps. :)
When they each collect 3 cans and ms lees class has 1 less studen than mr galvezs class, how many more cans where collected by mr galvezs class?
i would make a guess of 3 because if they each collect 3 and ms lees class has one less student then that would be the sort of question you ask, not 'How many more cans were collected by MR Galvezs class than Ms lees class' because it gives no info
