WHAT I KNOW
-Philippine folk dances speak so much about the heartbeat of our people for they tell about our customs, ideas, beliefs, superstitions, and events of daily living in a certain community.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW
-I want ko discover more, about folk dances terms of its origins, historical backround, dance steps and step patterns, dance iterpretations and performances.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
-I have learned the significance of the origins and locations of folk dances by identifying the performers' costumes and music.

WHAT I KNOW
—Binislakan, which in Pangasinan means " with the use of sticks"

—Sakuting refers to a rhythmic sticks producinf the accompaniment for the dance.

—Sua-ku-Sua means "My Pomelo Tree"

—Pangalay is the traditional finger nail dance of the Tausug people of the Sulu Archipelago and Sabah.
