A friend tells you a way to estimate how far away a lightning bolt strikes. You count the number of seconds between seeing the flash and hearing the thunderclap. Then you divide that number by five to get a distance in mile. In terms of the physics of light and sound waves, does the method make sense?
I forget the deep method but u can detect the distance of the lighting bolt striking by counting from the lighting to the sound of thunderclap and dividing by a number but I forget the number
