They have been stranded on their tropical cay for seven days, living and working in the hot sun. Phillip and Timothy are still rationing their water from the raft, so there is never enough to drink. Suddenly, a cool rain begins. They go outside and joyfully stand in the rain, feeling the cool water wash their skin and catching drops of water in their mouths.The rain refills their water supply - Timothy made a catchment to collect the rainwater. There is enough rain that Timothy decides to build a second catchment for the next rain shower. Phillip enjoys the rain because he can hear and feel it, and he doesn't need to see it. The roof of the hut leaks, but Phillip and Timothy don't mind. They rain makes them happy.
