Dissolved minerals trapped in magma under tremendous pressure provide the force for a volcanic eruption.

F

Respuesta :

The answer is False.

The reason for eruption of volcanoes are density and pressure. The density of magma is lower as compared to the density of the surrounding rocks which makes it rise like air bubbles in dense syrup like substance. The height upto which the volcano will rise is determined by the density of the magma and the weight of rocks which is above the magma. As the magma rises the gasses dissolved in it starts to form bubbles. The bubbles of gas exert pressure and the eruption of volcanoes takes place.
