Mom is getting food ready for my birthday party! Including me, there will be 22 people at the party. Mom is baking cupcakes for us! She can bake 12 cupcakes per batch. How many batches should I tell Mom to make so we can each have 3 cupcakes?

6 because if you want 3 each and there are 22 people then 3•22 is 66 and 12 goes into 66, 5 times but not evenly so you have to make 6 bc you can’t have 5 and a half batches
