Passage
A group of students is studying the types of plants that grow in a meadow

water other than rainfall. The meadow has several kinds of plants that are
typically found in a grassland ecosystem. The plants include grass and clover.
But there aren't any trees. The meadow has insects, including ants.
Earthworms live in the soil. Garter snakes and mice also live in the meadow.
