Andrew Jackson (1767-1845) was a lawyer, a politician and then became the 7th President of the United States. He did not have any military background or preparation but he was a leader and defeated the British in the Battle of New Orleans. After his victory, he was considered an important figure in the country. As a true supporter of freedom, he founded the Democratic Party.
