When it comes to overcoming adversity, most of the battle is in our minds. We are fighting for our minds and sometimes fighting with our minds, along with the thoughts and beliefs that we have formed through our life experiences.

Mental wellness is another way of saying mental health. It is finding the equilibrium of what makes us happy and satisfied in life. Many have struggled with forms of sadness, depression, anxiety, stress, and so many other emotions and issues that hold us back from feeling balanced
and mentally stable.

The few things I have learned and can put to practice throughout this unit are:

  • I need to maintain a stable mental health
  • I need to find the equilibrium that ensures my mental wellness

Mental health just like other forms of health is the state of being ok and in the right frame of mind to fully live and face life.
