I believe that the point of view would be third person omniscient. That is when the narrator knows the thoughts and feeling of all the characters. I am assuming he knows Samir's feelings as well, and he does know his fathers feelings so, I would say that the pov is third person omniscient. Not completely sure, but I do hope this helps!
